Which model to choose? Leather, canvas, patent, velvet...
Here you will find options for summer, made of canvas, breathable and comfortable, with different types of closures. For more formal spring occasions, we have linen designs with details like ankle straps and bows. You have a variety of colours to choose from: white, navy blue, pink, and more.
And when temperatures drop, we have options in serratex, a material with a suede-like finish. For winter, you can't go without a pair in leather, velvet, or patent, depending on the occasion.
Barefoot Mary Janes: a modern version of the classic
Within the collection, you will also find barefoot Mary Janes for girls, a reinterpretation of the traditional design adapted for those seeking a simpler and more flexible structure. They maintain the classic aesthetic but are adapted to the natural shape and support of the foot.
These Mary Janes stand out for their wider toe box, much thinner sole, and completely flat construction, with no internal reinforcements or heel drop. Additionally, they feature a removable insole, which makes cleaning easier and allows you to easily check when it's time to change sizes.
Within our Mary Jane range, the barefoot option is an alternative designed for families looking for a simple, easy-to-wear shoe that supports prolonged use without changing the essence of one of the most iconic children's footwear styles.

History of Mary Janes
They are currently the star footwear for most girls, especially the little ones, as their design is as stylish as ballet pumps but, thanks to their strap closure, they don't slip off while walking. But did you know that the origin of Mary Janes is actually related to dancing, just like ballet pumps themselves?
They were designed for the ballroom dances of the British court in the 19th century, and the strap prevented them from slipping off not just while walking - but while twirling and twirling at the elegant banquets held at the palace! In Spain, they are known as "merceditas" after Queen Maria de las Mercedes of Orleans, whom everyone called Merceditas in private, and whose husband, King Alfonso XII, gave her a pair of these shoes on their honeymoon.
